Common questions

When are tryouts?

We'll hold sessions in late May and early June. You'll get more details as we get closer. We don't expect every player to make every session. Aim to be at two of them.

Does it cost to play?

We keep costs as low as possible, with all funds going towards running the program. We'll share exact costs around the time of tryouts.

What's covered:

  • Facility rental for games and practices
  • Game day staff (e.g. referees and stat keepers)
  • League registration

What's not covered:

  • Uniforms (available to buy or rent)
  • Equipment (e.g. helmet, gloves, rib pads)

We know everyone's situation looks different. Reach out if we need to find a way to make it work.

What's the time commitment?

There's two or three team events per week, on average:

  • Senior game (often weekends)
  • Junior game (weeknights)
  • Practice (depends on game schedule)

Senior players must play in two regular-season games to have postseason (regional/national) eligibility. Regular season games are in Northern RI, Western MA, Eastern MA, and Southern ME.
